We went to the mall today to meet up with one of my friends who has two girls. I meant to bring my camera, then changed my mind, then changed my mind again. By the time I decided to bring my camera after all, I realized that the battery was practically out of charge, so the decision was changed once again. There were quite a few moments I wanted to capture at the mall, and since I had another person available to hold my baby if/when I wanted to grab the camera, it would have been so much easier also. But darn that battery!
Here goes another photo from yesterday instead, a portrait of my oldest eating a chicken nugget. She used to be really into posing for me, but I think she got tired of having a camera in her face at all times, so now I mostly have to shoot her as quickly and secretly as I can before she turns away. She’s better about it than her sister though. That little nugget has an amazing ability to detect the camera from miles away and promptly meet me with a grumpy grimace.
