Don’t Touch My Necklace

I have to admit that I did not take any photos today. My baby boy is sick and I was having enough trouble keeping him happy and fed, so I didn’t have it in me to pick up my camera. I took this photo yesterday. I had placed the baby sitting in front of the mirror at a safe distance for him not to pull it over while I needed to leave the room for a moment. When I got back, his little big sister – as my middle child is referred to in our house – had sat down in front of the baby and I saw him trying to reach for his sister. I had my camera right there so I was able to catch this moment of him trying to pull his sister’s necklace and her trying to prevent him from doing so.

I applied sienna-blue toning, added a bit of vignetting, and took down highlights in tone curve in post processing.
