We went to Leo’s Lekland in Linköping today. It really is a fun place for kids of all ages; heck, if I hadn’t had a baby wrapped on my body for the majority of the time we were there, I would have loved to go on some of the slides myself. I used the quotation marks around the word “fun” in the title because my kids really do not seem to have fun there on this photo. Unfortunately, what you see below is the kinds of facial expressions I get out of my kiddos when I specifically ask them all to look in the camera at the same time with at least a semblance of a happy expression on their faces.
It’s definitely not the greatest photo I’ve ever taken – there is a person standing directly behind each my middle child and my baby boy, something I normally know to try to avoid, although it becomes really hard to work around in a crowded indoor playground, and the background seems too busy in general – but it is amusing to me because it’s such a great representation of my difficulties getting good happy images of all my kiddos together on ‘command.’
