My older daughter was blowing bubbles outside today, the sun was shining and there were beautiful white clouds in the sky. I attempted to take some photos of her with the sun hitting her from behind and on the top of the frame to create images with sun flare, but I was less than excited about the results. It was just too bright outside. I then re-framed the shot with the sun directly behind her head and something about the near silhouette of her with trees surrounding her and the sun creating a bit of a halo effect around her head was just right. I only took three shots of it and I somehow knew already that the second and third were unnessecary, the first one was perfect.
