My baby boy has been on the move for almost a month now. As I wrote in one of my prior posts, he is fascinated with the dishwasher and today, while cooking and not looking at him for a few minutes, I discovered him sitting on the dishwasher door that I had left open for him. I have no idea how he got up there and I wish I had my camera around to take a photo of him, but I didn’t. So, today’s photo is instead of him crawling outside a few weeks ago. My settings were not ideal for capturing a crawling baby, but I really wanted to have a wide aperture for nicer bokeh and I have this pre-conceived idea that I should keep the ISO at 100 when shooting outside making my shutter too slow to get a perfectly sharp shot of a moving subject. I do like the subtle back light, the colors and his expression.
