Nail Art

Both of my girls have enjoyed having their finger and toe nails painted for quite a while now, but it wasn’t until this past Christmas when my oldest saw her cousin’s new nail art kit that she got really into painting other people’s nails. And yes, daddy gets his nails painted on a regular basis as well. She’s been trying to recreate some of the designs that she saw in her cousin’s nail painting book with the few kid-friendly nail polishes that I’ve gotten them previously, but it has proven to be somewhat difficult. So I ended up getting her the same kit that her cousin has and it arrived tonight.

It was so sweet to see her do her little sister’s nails and her little sister so patiently waiting for her to be done with the designs. No arguments, just two happy little girls.

On the first photo, my older one is holding her finger up while counting to thirty, because you are supposed to wait thirty seconds before you apply a new part of the design on the layer below.
