The girls asked to go to the mall today so we made a family outing out of it. They are really not interested in going to any of the stores but there are three things they always look forward to doing there – the carousel, the playground, and the ice cream stand. Usually in that order, although today the ice cream stand came before the playground, and we ended up stopping by a toy store and getting the girls a 20 questions-like game also.
I don’t like the mall playground on the weekends. It gets really busy, and the older I get the less I enjoy going to really busy and loud places, but the girls, and my baby boy, had lots of fun running around. In fact, they had so much fun, that at some point my oldest one got a bit worn out and just lied down on top of one of the tube-tunnel-whatever-you-call-it thingies and took a short break. Which is when I took this photo of her. There was something about her today that looked a little extra beautiful and I love the dreaminess of her expression here.
