Jewelry

My oldest daughter really likes jewelry. I think it all started when she noticed me buying a few accessories for various photo projects. She has accumulated quite a collection now – she has inherited some of the pieces that I’ve used for specific projects and no longer need, some pieces I’ve bought for her, and some she’s even purchased herself from Goodwill for coins that her dad has given her over time.

Every now and then she tries her jewelry on and yesterday she wanted me to take photos of her wearing some of her favorite pieces. I did not ask her to pose in any way, she naturally knows exactly what to do in order to look this adorable.

For this second photo, I ended up adding a film-grain effect. I’m a fan of real film grain and although the “effect” is not exactly the same, I still felt that it added something to the image.
