I really liked the look of this film on my last roll. I liked the colors, the “mood,” and not even the slight fogging on the top and bottom of the film bothered me much. I was really excited to shoot another roll – I have 4 total – and I did last weekend. I was so excited that I shot the whole roll within 30 minutes, all of my kiddos playing in the pool. Stupid, I know, but I wanted to fill the film so that I could get it off for developing. Besides, all the frames looked so beautiful through my beloved waistlevel finder.
When I got the scans back today, I was somewhat disappointed. While the film did really well and looked beautiful in the shade, I don’t think I like it much in the sun. The colors are not nearly as “soothing” and pretty, and it just seems boring. I decided to post a few of the shots anyway; if nothing else, it will serve as a reminder for me to not shoot the remaining two rolls in the sun by the pool.

And just for fun, here’s another one from the same roll – the only one that isn’t of my girl(s) in the pool. The colors actually work a little bit better on this shot.
